Xixuan Meta Spa

This is a 2500㎡ underground spa therapy center in a boutique hotel, a place where the visitors come for the experience of cleansing and rejuvenating the body and the mind; and hopefully, a rebirth.

We envision the space as a huge excavated cave, in it are the earth and stone being removed, polished and put back.  The changing physical quality of natural stone, from the roughness of the granite to the fineness and transparency of the onyx, are juxtaposed everywhere as the metaphor of the transformation that one will experience through the therapy.  When the therapy completed, one will walk out from the gloomy underground to the bright daylight above feeling new again.

這是一間位於精品旅館地下層的800坪水療館。提供貴賓們從療程中感受到淨身、養心、甚至重生的體驗。

我們想像整個空間是個大型地底洞穴，將挖掘出的石頭精心琢磨後再安置回去。石材的外觀與質地的變化，從粗糙的花崗岩到透亮的瑪瑙石，都被巧妙安排在空間各處來暗喻療程能帶來的身心靈轉化。當療程結束，走出昏暗的洞穴回到明亮的地表面，貴賓們將感受到全新的自己。
